Microforms room unavailable until August 10

From Lonnie:

This morning Michelle was informed by the electricians working in the Microform Room that the room will remain unavailable until at least the end of the day due to the extensive work that has to be done.

As they were not sure of the time of completion beyond today, Gov. Docs will put up a sign indicating the unavailability of the room until Monday, Aug. 10.
Debra has designed more signs with different dates to replace the current one should the electricians’ work be completed sooner than Monday.

Should users need to read microform material the following libraries have been contacted and we can direct users to one of the following:

Schulich - 1 microfilm reader – With photocopy ability Life Sciences – Osler Library – 1 microfilm reader - With photocopy ability Law – 1 microfilm reader – With photocopy ability Music – 1 microfilm reader – With photocopy ability


The user should be directed to the Lending & Access Services desk where material will be bar-coded and charged to the user.

Material will be returned to the Lending desk, discharged and returned to the Microforms area.
