It looks like the print holdings for the boxed journals have now been suppressed from the catalogue.
We are still waiting to have the locations codes changed for the pre-1851 monographs that were transferred from McLennan to RBD. So if clients can’t find pre-1851 items that are supposed to be on the 3rd floor of McLennan…they should visit RBD!

Subject: McLennan third floor serials
Hi all,
As promised at our recent liaison librarian meeting:
A list of print serials that have been moved from the third floor of McLennan can be found in the MclRef folder on the U drive.
1. Titles that have been transferred to Redpath Basement Storage (self-serve): U|/McLref\Common\Deselection2010\McL 3rd Floor\SN Folder\3RD FLOOR TRANSFERS TO STORAGE.xlsx. ***The location code for these titles is now correct in the library catalogue.
2. Titles that have been boxed and are inaccessible to clients: U|\McLref\Common\Deselection2010\McL 3rd Floor\SN Folder\3RD FLOOR JOURNALS IN BOXES.xlsx. ***The location code for these titles is incorrect in the catalogue. We are still waiting for collection services to change the code to “unavailable” or something similar, but in the meantime, the catalogue shows that the volumes are on the 3rd floor. However, all of the titles are in JSTOR, so it is unlikely that clients will be looking for them in print. I have printed a copy of this list for the info desk drawer.
Apologies for the delay in sending out this info (la tĂȘte comme une passoire).
Thanks,
Megan
