This week and the week of September 12th, Rare Books and Special Collections will be open on Tuesdays from 2pm to 6pm and Fridays from 10am to 1pm.

CREPUQ cards
During the strike, CREPUQ cards for McGill users are being issued at the Loans desk.
From the September 1 update: Authorized borrowing card for professors/assistants and CREPUQ cards will be created for our CREPUQ colleagues ONLY at HSSL and Schulich, Monday through Friday from 10 to 6. M(Library Supervisors) to perform this task.

Sound on public workstations
Several students have reported that they aren’t able to get sound on public computers in Redpath and McLennan. Charles says that this is a known issue on the Dell 745 machines. He is trying to push out updates that will resolve the issue. If students report the problem, they can try rebooting the computer. If it still doesn’t work, they should look for a HP computer.
Charles hopes to have the issue resolved during the week of September 5.
