Borrowing from “Library Partners”

From Gen Gore:

We are currently in the process of drafting information for the website about borrowing from “Library Partners” (currently the Presbyterian College, Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital, Neuro-Patient Resource Centre and Jewish General Hospital libraries; only the first two are completely live).

Please be very careful when telling students about borrowing from partner libraries, and particularly when talking about the Jewish General Hospital libraries. Only students or residents who are currently on rotation at the Jewish General Hospital can borrow from the JGH libraries. A couple of students were told they could borrow from the JGH, and I think we can all imagine the disappointment they felt when they trekked all the way out there only to discover they could not borrow from them. The safest approach is to have the students contact the partner libraries directly. Their contact information is available on the web.
