If a student's print job seems to be stalled, and their list of print jobs refuses to appear, ask the student if the popup appeared on their computer when they sent the job. If not, then the job didn't go through and the computer is at fault and must be reported.
We were having a problem like this. The students sent the jobs (they thought), but they didn't realize they had to see the popup.
I know we're fixated on the popup, but they are not, apparently, so remind them that this is their confimation that the job has indeed been sent.
