Scanning/emailing from public Xerox

Scanning a file to email works from color printers in the main public reference area or in the Cybertheque. There seem to be no color printers in the Redpath photocopier room. The rule of thumb I use is 'if it doesn't have a card reader installed (for photocopying) then it's possible to scan and email from the machine'. This will no longer continue to hold true as later this term the ITC card readers are scheduled for retirement when the new campus printing using a McGill ID card replaces this system. If a more exact outlining of the policy is required, then an email to support.printing@mcgill.ca may be best.
